AirVorne's - King/Queen of the 2002 Fall League
Start Date: September 10th and 11th - starting every Tuesday (Intermediate)
or Wednesday (Advance) for 6 weeks...a schedule will be posted once registration
ends...
Location: Piedmont Park...location might change but for now I will try
to use this location
Time: 6:30 till dark...
Cost: $40 / player - break-down = $6.66 per match (2 games) for 6 weeks...not
bad I don't think...

Details:
Everyone whose has played in AirVorne's King/Queen tournaments knows how
it works...every game you play with a different partner. Every week, you
will play with a different partner - 2 games to 11 points capped at 13.
With each week not only comes a different partner but also "alternating
nets" meaning...the first week will be played on a women's net...the
following week on a men's net...then the following back to women's net...and
so forth. So as you can see, there is a different scenario each week...
Absense:
Alot of you have been asking me, "Well, what if you can't make it
for some of the Tuesdays or Wednesdays...". Here is my solution:
within the 6 weeks of league play, you will be allowed to have a sub for
only 2 matches/Tuesday or Wednesdays depending on what level you play.
Now, I know that some of you will have plans made already whether it is
work, vacation, business travel, etc. If you plan to be away ALOT through
the months of September and early October, then I would not recommend
this league for ya...no offense. Now, as far as the subs are concerned,
you must get someone that is equal to you as far as your play on the court...this
must be approved by the league director (I guess that is me) a week in
advance.
Divisions:
There will be two divisions:
Intermediate (BB / B) - play will start approximately 6:30 every Tuesday
Advance (Open / A) - play will start approximately 6:30 every Wednesday
I will have up to four courts for each division...meaning that I can only
accept 10 male players and 10 female players in each division. So as you
can see, space is limited...

September 10th - women's net
September 17th - men's net
September 24th - women's net
October 1st - men's net
October 8th - Play-offs begins...
October 15th - Semi-Finals and Finals...
Dates for league play: (Wednesdays -
Advance Level)
September 11th - women's net - we can postpone the start due to the date...
September 18th - men's net
September 25th - women's net
October 2nd - men's net
October 9th - Play-off begins...
October 16th - Semi-Finals and Finals...
