Dear Coach:

We at NorthLake Kaepa VBC are finalizing our coaching positions for the 02-03 Season. We could use a few more coaches to make sure we have full coverage for all the teams.

If you have not visited our website at www.northlakevolleyball.com, please do. It is updated regularly and contains all the latest information on the club.

We are currently in registration mode for the coming season. Returning club members have been able to register since September 3rd. We will be opening up registration to new members beginning October 15th. Given the lessons learned from our hypergrowth last year (from 45 to 110 members), we will have a first-come first-serve model of registration. We will hold 12 positions for each team. Once a team is filled by either returning players or new members, we will start a waiting list for that age group team. No members will be added until we have a full team roster and coach in place.

We expect significant program growth this season at all age levels! Our ability to serve aspiring players will be limited by our ability to provide quality coaching.

Our Club Philosophy is a bit different. Please visit the site for the details. We are an open club taking all members. When we hold tryouts, it is to place members on teams. We have a no-cut philosophy, and limit membership based on availability of coaches and teams.

Our pay scale is the best in Atlanta. We have the best working conditions for coaches of any program. Players and parents with attitude problems are asked to go elsewhere and their money refunded.

We need confirmation or expressed interest from you in the next few days. Several new coaches have contacted me and expressed an interest and all our coaches from last year are returning. I would appreciate it if you could call me on my cell phone so we can discuss your interest, get your questions answered, and find a team for you to coach.

We have a Sunday practice session that will be for all instructional players. It will run from 1 to 5 near Emory. Any coach interested in running a "drills only session" on Sundays (but not having a team, or in addition to having a team), please let me know. We are also considering adding a boy's program. The Southern Storm boy's program is on their own this year. If we add the boy's program, it will start with younger players and have a limited season.
